Our P7 children and P6 girls travelled to Kinawley yesterday to play in a Gaelic football blitz with three other schools. The sun was shining bright and the children were raring to go!
Both teams worked really hard under the blaring sun and showed some excellent individual and team skills. Great fun was had both on and off the pitch and friendships were made with children from the other participating schools.
A special thank you to Hugh Kelly who gave up his time to come and coach both our teams. To echo Hugh's words: the future is bright for Derrygonnelly Harps!
Also a big thank you from the children to Miss McGarrigle who treated everyone in Lilley's on the way back - it was greatly appreciated!
