Busy Week Back in P5/6
The P5/6 children had a busy week back from the Easter break. The weather was lovely this week and Mrs McAloon took full advantage and brought the children outside for some learning games. The children worked in teams to find the letters of the alphabet that were hidden all around the school's play area. Lots of fun was had by all.
In the classroom Mrs McAloon taught the children about food chains. The children were given pictures of producers and consumers and were tasked with forming food chains with their friends. They also practiced their skills using rulers to write their names on squared paper.
PE with Mr Kelm is always lots of fun, and the children were put through their paces with lots of fun and games aimed at further developing their football skills.
The children also enjoyed an extended period of extra play in the glorious sunshine as the class pompom jar was filled before the break. Keep up the hard work completing AR quizzes and getting your Mathletics points!
And to finish up, the children loved getting back to the swimming pool along with the P6 boys in P6/7. What a great week back to school we've had!
