As you might know, each classroom in our school have a Trócaire collection box and the children are encouraged to bring in any spare change that they have to support the charity and their important work in supporting people and communities to tackle the root causes of poverty, injustice and violence.
Caoimhe Duffy in Primary 5/6 went the extra mile and made up ‘Mystery Bags’ together with a friend and sold them around the village to raise money for Trócaire. They have made over £40 so far and Miss Carney and the staff were so impressed that they have promised to buy her last four bags.
