Last week some of our P7 children addressed the whole school in their quest to attain the coveted title of Head Girl and Head Boy of the new school year.
They all put a lot of thought and effort into their speeches and are to be commended on their courage and excellent ideas put forward to persuade the rest of the children in the school why they should should be chosen.
Immediately following the speeches an anonymous ballot was held in the hall in which every child in the school voted for the boy and girl they thought would be the best Head Boy and Head Girl based on their speeches.
It was a very close contest but in the end Charlie Magee and Belle Magee came out the winners and were formally elected as this school year's Head Boy and Head Girl.
Well done Charlie and Belle. We know that you will be great ambassadors for our school in the coming year.
