This week we have been focusing on the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty. This has led to lots of fun learning and play experiences this week
- Our Humpty Dumpty Hospital opened during play. We have some very diligent and caring doctors and nurses in P1.
- We used small world figures to reenact the nursery rhyme.
- We used our cutting and sequencing skills to sequence the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme.
- During play we built Humpty Dumpty a wall to sit on.
- We discussed how Humpty Dumpty should have worn a helmet to keep him safe and carried out an experiement to test the best materials to protect him when he falls.
- We explored rhyming words with pictures and made our own versions of the Humpty Dumpty rhyme.
