P5 Blitz in Enniskillen
Last Thursday it was the turn of our P5 children to travel on the bus to play in a Gaelic football blitz. The blitz was organised by St Michael's College and held at their fabulous playing fields.
The sun was shining high in the sky and the children were buzzing to get going - especially with the promise of an ice cream before home time!
All the children played their hearts out and worked really well together as a team, both on and off the pitch. The children never stopped when they were on the pitch, and they cheered in support of their teammates when they had a rest on the sideline. Miss McGarrigle was delighted with their efforts and behaviour, and they managed to place third in the end-up! Mr Brendy Rasdale even paid the children a visit which went down a treat by all!
There were a lot of children attending the blitz on the day and the queue was veeeery long for the ice cream van so Gerald kindly agreed to stop the bus at Lilley's for a treat on the way home instead.
