After two cancelled soccer tournaments this year, the P7s finally made it to a tournament last week. The Greg Turley Tournament took place at the Erne Integrated College and was well attended by a number of local primary schools.
Our P7 children played three matches in the group stages. Unfortunately luck was not on our side on the day and we didn't progress to the semi finals.
It has to be mentioned that the organiser did come to the children after the group stages and acknowledged their hard work and football skills and said they were the better team on the day, they were just unlucky with the results.
Regardless of the results, the children had a great morning out playing lots of football and connecting with children from other primary schools.
