As part of our Titanic topic, children in Primary 6 and 7 were given the task to design a boat using a 30cm long piece of tin foil. They had to fold, scrunch, bend the sheet of foil to create a boat that would hold the most pennies before it sunk. Once each boat was created they had to estimate how many pennies each boat would hold before they tested them out one by one.
We definitely have some engineers of the future in our class.
