We were delighted to welcome Peter from the RNLI to our school on Thursday morning to talk to us about how to keep safe in and around the water. Peter was very informative and the children really enjoyed hearing about life as a lifeguard and how much training goes in to keeping us safe. He also brought with him some of the equipment that they use and some lucky children even got to try on some of the gear!
A big thank-you to Peter and the RNLI for all that they do for us. The RNLI will be celebrating their 200th birthday next year - imagine that they have been rescuing people for nearly 200 years!
